Alyssa was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA by two parents who loved and encouraged cooking with great ingredients. Alyssa taught herself to cook as a teenager, and then post-college attended The New School of Cooking in Culver City to advance her culinary education in both savory and pastry programs. She soon realized that food and cooking were her passions, and hasn't left the kitchen yet!

In addition to cooking, Alyssa loves eating, art, traveling, music, movies, & nature!
